<p><strong>Tiger great leap:</strong> <em>“After spending a fruitful morning in the magical forests of Bandhavgarh, watching the tigress known as Dotty and her cubs, we headed back to our resort. Just five minutes from the exit gate, we suddenly spotted this large male tiger walking toward the road. Ours was the only vehicle around and we watched in amazed silence as the cat walked ahead of us for almost a kilometre, smack in the middle of the road. Suddenly the tiger stopped, and crossed over to the other side of the road that had been fenced. He easily jumped over the fence, allowing me to capture his great leap!”</em></p>
<p><strong>Shivaee Chavan</strong> completed her post-graduation in Travel and Tourism before becoming a partner at a wildlife travel company in Pune. She now has a decade of experience in conducting awareness-oriented tours, exhibitions and interactive sessions.</p>
