I Choose Earth

First published on April 22, 2026

Across the world, people are finding their own ways to stand for the natural world - through action, through advocacy, and sometimes, through a simple, personal choice.

For some, that choice begins quietly. In a forest. By a river. On a piece of land that asks to be listened to.

In Ranthambhore, Rajasthan, one such journey began in 1998, with a decision to step away from the familiar and move closer to the wild. Over time, that choice shaped a way of living - one that led to the Bagh Forest - Bhadlav Rewilding Project, and a deeper understanding of coexistence.

Today, that sentiment feels simple to express and act upon.
